I have been out of work since the pandemic started. I eventually could not keep up paying for my homeowners and car insurance. I have been getting bills for amount owed on both policies, after I cancelled these policies. I called to discuss this with the Allstate agency that I purchased the policies thru and they are no longer in business. I also tried calling Allstate customer service and they keeping hanging up on me. If the agency cancelled the policies when they were told, this would not be a problem. Now looking for insurance again, I will not be choosing Allstate. me me User's recommendation: Do not choose Allstate.
