Dear everyone, sketchers shape ups have been discontinued for 10+ years on a lifespan of only 5 years. Therefore I hate to inform you that ANY shoe that is bought, in storage, new, or used will likely deteriorate. I did the research when numerous shoes of mine had the same problem. I am not one to give up easily so I continued to make purchases off eBay. Consequently I believe that my days are over trying to buy a shoe that will not last long. All we can hope for is that Sketchers will reinstate the line of shape ups that I consider to be so valuable! Please president of sketchers! Bring back the shoe!!! User's recommendation: Send emails to sketchers to bring back the line.
