My 84 year old mum joined eharmony this afternoon and realised she had to pay a subscription for 2 years! She rang to cancel and was informed she will be charged £65.00! This has caused her great distress, this cannot be lawful surely... I would call it stealing her money. Every company by law should have a cooling off period that normally means you get a full refund.
