I was in Sam's located in Birmingham, Ala. Lakeshore location. I saw in the fresh bakery cooler there was raw thawed chicken kabobs in with, and touching the fresh bakery cakes. These bakery cakes are just loosley packaged in there clear fresh bakery containers, raw chicken juice can easily splash and contaminate the cakes. When I brought this to Mr. Glenn Bradley your store manager, he said that" someone was supposed to pull that chicken this morning". The time was 12:30 pm at the time I told him about the raw chicken. He obviously never checked back to make sure the raw chicken had been removed from the fresh cake open cooler display. Then he had the audacity to tell me that he is allowed to display raw chicken next to fresh bakery cakes, but he just admitted that he told someone to remove the raw chicken this morning. I am a nurse with over 30 yrs. experience and I know cross contamination when I see it. Your manager doesn't care, and instead of being appreciative of a concerned customer informing him, he just blames the messenger, and just walked off. There was another female mgr. that witnessed this exchange. I have video and pictures of the raw thawed chicken in with the cakes and showed him and he could care less.
