Bought the VCE exam software outright, and was quite satisfied with it - then Avanset decided to implement a new charging scheme, and to assure that all their customers subscribed, they deliberately created and distributed (without warning) a software update that disabled all previous and fully purchased products. Anyone that purchased the software now found it was disabled, resulting in any and all tests created by and for it becoming useless - unless they agreed to pay a monthly ransom. User's recommendation: Buyer beware - there is absolutely no reason to conclude they won't pull this scam again on a regular basis..
