When I opened the package I found that the bacon pieces were almost pulled apart in the middle of the strips. Also, the middle area was folded upon itself in order to fit in the package. This is the worst "THICK CUT" BACON" I have ever purchased . I later went back to the store (Miramar Commissary" to look at more packages of the same type and they were not folded up to be able to fit the package. User's recommendation: Don't buy the thick cut without looking closely at the package.
