Quality has plummeted. Customer service is non-existent

I bought a Toro mower for around $450 in 2018. A cheap nylon retainer/starter clutch part in the spring starter assembly breaks repeatedly. However, Briggs and Stratton or any of their parts supply partners makes this $2 sub-assembly part available. I'm expected to shell our $60 for the whole starter assembly every time this stupid things breaks or just toss the whole mower. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact them to express my concerns. I am now vocally anti Briggs and Stratton. I do my best to make sure no one I know spends their money on this garbage. Too bad. Briggs and Stratton once hce hmade quality engines. User's recommendation: Do not buy. Poor quality.
