Publix French Fried Onions

Purchased 6 oz bag Publix French Fried Onions. Made green bean casserole and after tasting it, something was wrong with it! Checked bag of onions and they were rank. Had to throw away the casserole. UPC [protected] 8. The Best by date is 02/23/22. Have purchased these before and never had this problem! Reluctant to purchase them again! Wanted you to be aware of this problem!
