Product malfunction TC-Helicon Harmony-G XT

I plugged in my microphone into the unit when it was powered up and now there are no effects or harmonies coming form the unit. All the buttons and light work, I did a default settings reset and a firmware download and update. Is there a solution to getting the device to work or is it now a paperweightr/doorstop?
