In house transfer problem. My name is Kemi Ogundele. I've been a resident of parke laurel apartment 20708 laurel since Nov 2017 1**** Apt 9. I transferred to a 2 bedroom apartment on Thursday 2/29/2020, 13141 Apt 8. The building is in a deplorable state. Sand and mud and all sorts has been on the stairs for over 1 week with no cleaner in sight. The smell in the hallway is also very offensive. I've complained about this but nothing had been done till date. The last but not the least is the security issues. The building happens to be facing a pond and with a foot path beside it. I saw some fierce looking guys smoking marijuana around 12am and walking through the footpath. I went to the leasing office on monday 2nd March to discuss how I could transfer to another building but I was given 24 hours to move out to no where or else i would have to pay 300 dollars transfer fees if i wanted to move to another building on a later date I really need to transfer from this building urgently as I feel very unsafe. Kindly help look into this situation for me, I have an 18 month old baby and also currently 7months pregnant. My sons security is of utmost importance to me as well as myself.
