Problem connecting with internet

I recently purchased an Acu Rite Professional Weather Center Model @01516. I was able to set it up EXCEPT for the internet. I looked at the instruction manual which says it only transmits at 2.4Ghz. So I contacted my provider and they confirmed that that is what it is transmitting at, but I still can not connect it to the internet.
