I received a subscription to Eating Well magazine as a gift. someone I know purchased a subscription to the magazine and received one subscription for free. now i know why it is free. they make up for the cost by selling your information without your consent. without my knowledge or consent, Meredith Corporation sold my contact information to numerous entities, willfully violating my CCPA rights. I am now receiving tons of junk mail to my home address. I know it was Meredith Corporation because they mispelled my name. I contacted Meredith Corporation asking about their privacy policy regarding subrcriptions made as gifts and not y the actual subscriber and no one has replied. i will be filing a complaint with the secretary of health and CCPA.
