Prime Honda Maine Nightmares, Lying, Disrespect
I took my Honda minivan for dealer servicing as a rule. ***, I know, but I thought I was doing the right thing. Eventually when the service personnel determined that my vehicle was old enough to trade it in, they started finding all kinds of dire things wrong with it, lots of high-price repairs. Last year they told me several things in my car were "beyond repair" , but could be fixed for $1500 or so, and they would be happy to take my minivan as a trade in on a brand-new car, so step on over to the sales department! I was furious and said they had overplayed their hand, since I didn't want a new car. The Prime Honda service people were then extremely rude and condescending. I took it to the Jiffy Lube and they fixed everything, and fast, for a fraction of the price. So *** me, I took it again today to Prime Honda, since I was told it wouldn't pass inspection. Again, same story, lots of things to fix, and I shouldn't even drive it off the lot since it won't pass inspection. Again, the condescending, nasty and sarcastic attitude. I took their service assessment again to Jiffy Lube, JL went over it with me FREE OF CHARGE, telling me exactly what needed to be dealt with before inspection. A couple of the things were minor, and the manager fixed them for me at no charge. It will be a cold day in *** before I ever go to any Ira Rosenberg Prime auto dealers. I am done.
