My unfortunate experience with this seller began by attempting to make a simple purchase of an item being sold by AVL Gear on Amazon. With the items in my cart and prior to checking out, I contacted the seller via the phone number provided to verify inventory. Not only was a fictitious number of items available being advertised, during the phone call the price of the items was increased significantly, knowing that a transaction was imminent. After being emailed a quote to complete the purchase offline, the Amazon price was raised yet again. This was all while in the middle of a several thousand dollar transaction taking place. Price gouging? Scamming at its finest? You decide. Avoid these clowns and do business with an honest vendor instead!
