On July 12 I visited the Valvoline station at street Rd and Bustleton pike in feasterville Pa. My first experience there was April 10,2023 and the service was fine. However, on July 12 , 2023 my oil change was going on 30 minutes and I could hear banging and my car was shaking from the work being done on it . At that time I was told my plug was stripped in the oil pan . I replied my last service was here and there were no issues. The manager then came over and explained that the plug was a different style. I explained it was the same one you changed four months ago without issues . He stated it was stripped and I replied then your people stripped it . He went down himself for about ten minutes and told me he replaced the plug all is well. It should be noted during this extended period cars were backing up behind me and I could feel like they just needed me to get out of there. I asked the Mgr if all was good because I had a lot of traveling coming up in the next three weeks. He replied your good to go. He also stated he would have to remove the oil from the engine intake the next change ???? On July 21, 2023 I found my driveway in north cape May nj covered with oil and my dip stick showing no oil level. I called the feasterville mgr and was told I could bring the car to the egg harbor nj store and they would tighten the plug but it would only last a couple weeks. That is how long the July 12 plug lasted . I decided to take me car to local trusted mechanic who stated the plug installed was plastic and inferior and not the proper size. Also, my oil pan was stripped . I believe this all occurred on July 12 when I could here the banging and the car shaking as the plug was violently removed stripping the oil pan as well. This fix is costing me 1200.00 . I a m a senior citizen and simply wanted an oil change . Also why would I be told that the egg harbor repair would only last two weeks and go see as mechanic . Again I was never notified of ANYTHING being stripped after the April 10 service . I believe the damage was done july 21 and I was not informed. What if this oil drained from my engine on one of my long trips to Massachusetts. I could have been injured or killed. The mgr said it was good to go . I am seeking reimbursement for my repairs .
