Poor service. Jared hurt my credit rating

I decided to buy a luxury watch at Jared. After selecting a watch, I needed to request an increase in my credit limit. I have had an account at Jared for 2.5 years I have made all my payments on my account on time and never missed a payment. Jared denied a credit line increase and then reduced my credit limit, which will reduce my credit rating as I am now using a higher percentage of my total credit. This is a lousy way to treat a good customer. I will be shopping at different retailers in the future which may a good decision as Jared rarely discounts their watches. Jared has lost a good customer. No wonder Jared is having problems and is closing many of their stores. User's recommendation: Stay away from Jared.
