Bob Evans restaurants. The sale of these restaurants a few years ago is very unfortunate. Bob Evans has been one of my familys favorite restaurants for decades. The minute they were sold we knew something had happened. It started with menu changes that customers didnt want. From there it was unhappy servers and managers. Next was the lack of cleanliness of the restaurants. After that the new servers were never properly trained. They were so cheap that they stopped using paper placemats on the tables. I believe Golden Gate Capital got exactly what they were wanting. What else could they possibly expect with poor quality food, removing favorites from the menu, unhappy employees and dirty restaurants? User's recommendation: Never go here again!
