Purchased a John Deere lawn tractor (that has been outstanding) and while at the store picked up an MTD Universal Sun Shade (490-900-****) that is supposed to fit the tractor. The instructions while not great were not terribly bad and the product includes three adaptors that work according to the brand of your tractor. After installing the John Deere attachments and attempting to mount the product the mounting holes are about 1/2 to 1/3 of an inch off making it impossible to install. I assumed this might have been a faulty set of attachments and called the company. I have never had such a negative experience with any customer service staff. All the young lady had to say is that they do not guarantee it will fit and there is nothing she can do to help. Terrible service!
