My fiancé and I walked with our 2 girls to Mellow Mushroom in OWENSBORO, KY this evening . The host at the front told us it would be a 20-30 minute wait. I noticed there were at least 8 booths available and at least 3 tables available. My fiancé asked why we had to wait so long instead of being seated at a table and at least getting our drink orders in. We were told it was because there were only 3 servers, and they could not be overwhelmed with too many tables. My question is: what is the difference of getting a table and taking our drink orders rather than waiting at the front door? door? lik minutes?
