About 3 weeks ago at our local Weis Mkt. we found a FarberWare egg/pancake spatula. It looked great, was very thin at the end and looked as though it would be wonderful for getting fried eggs out of the frying pan. I have used it about 3 or 4 times and discovered little black specks on the food. When I closely checked the end of the spatula it was obvious there was something wrong - it looked worn and there were pieces coming loose from it!! Unfortunately, I had already thrown away its info that came with it and the store receipt has also been thrown away! I am very disappointed! I had received Farberware kettles as wedding gifts 59 years ago and really really like them!!!!! I think they are the greatest and so when I bought this spatula I was not buying a product I had no idea if it would work!! What can I do about this? I doubt the store will refund my money since I don't even have the receipt anymore. It worked wonders as far as using it but I am not interested in eating pieces of black things from the spatula.
