Right, I was denied boarding to my flight with aircanada due to covid19 restrictions. By the time i would have reached my destination, my PCR test results would have exceeded the 72 hour requirement. This was because of my 13 hour layover. However, airlines and governments have since taken into consideration the length of layovers and now accept PCR tests that have expired past the 72 hour requirement if the traveler does not leave the airport. PCR tests will still be accepted if they exceed the required time window, considering layovers. Aircanada was willing to reschedule my flight, but because I booked through flightnetwork, aircanadas hands were tied and they could not change my reservation while I was present trying to board my flight. I needed to change my flight due to being affected by covid19, and the flightnework neglected and ignored all my attempt to reschedule my flight. I spent a total of 15 hours, on 3 separate phone calls within 3 days, just to be reassured someone would be contacting me by email to reschedule my flight. I ended up booking direct with an airline, and now have wasted another 12 hours on the phone (OF MY INERNATIONAL MINUTES) to not even get an opportunity to speak to an agent, even after waiting for 3 hours on one call this week. I have yet to receive an email or call. This is an atrocity to say the least. I have been monitoring the reviews for the flightnetwork. And it seems nearly every other customer is experiencing the same negative experience as the other. This is wrong, and immoral what the flight network is doing to their customers. I have taken it upon myself to share this information with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) in hopes to assist North American clients with some justice. And am willing to research further for client justice outside of North America. I hope the flightnetwork will take a moment to reflect on the standards of their services, or lack there of. Covid19 is no excuse for a "high call volume." Hire some more representatives. I would link to remind the flightnetwork of some quotes they promise to their customers: "We stand by your side" "We have the experience" "The best selection" This is false advertisement at its finest.
