NOT CARING ABOUT CUSTOMERS

I was asked to leave the restaurant because I asked why I was being seated before 2 parties of the same size who were African American and I am caucasian. I asked about the policy and asked to speak to the manager when the hostess didn't really respond. As s minister I felt my concern as an important one. The manager said I upset his staff person who told him I called a racist. I did not, but now I wonder why he made the accusation. He explained what a wait list was. I explained I understood waitlists, but she had not followed the policy. He then accused me of verbally abusing her. The other person in my party also heard the conversation and knows I only wanted to understand why the policy was not followed. I left when he told me to leave but did stop by the table of one of the other parties and apologized for allowing us to be seated before them. Too bad this happened. My church members want to boycott RT and go to the press. I just want RT to assure me that there is not seating preference based on race.
