Today I was arrested by Norwalk sheriffs because I did not have my license with me... I was not read my rights and when they took me in they put me in a cell with three Hispanic gangsters... One of them was in there for attempted murder... I am a white male that has never been to jail before...They said I would only be there to get processed and they would let me out... I asked if I can use the phone and they said no... Over the next several hours I begged and pleaded to use the phone so that my family would know where I was... They never let me use the phone... I did not get released for 7 and a half hours... The whole time I was in there my girlfriend was calling them and they were giving her very little information... She explained to them that I haven't called any of my family so they knew that everyone knew that they weren't giving me my phone calls... Being a white male with no tattoos and no record made me wonder how do these crooked cops treat Hispanic or black inmates... This is a problem that needs to be addressed... Please let's keep getting the word out on these crooked cops we can make a difference.
