No response to my emails about return and received custom levy invoice

I ordered a pair of shoes from their website (ORDER #45304) which arrived in early June 2021. The shoes were advertised as a size US 10, true to fit. They were a bit too small for me so I contacted customer services ([protected]@beklina.com) whether it's possible to return the shoes. I've sent them four emails and have not received a single reply to this date. Last week, I also received an invoice for Duty & VAT from DHL for £62.59 (the shipping company used by Beklina to the UK). This is on top of the inflated shipping charges I paid already. When placing the order, there was no mention of additional charges due. This is very unprofessional and basically non-existent customer service. I would like a refund for my shoes and I am not prepared to pay the additional customs charges. It's outrages.
