I called for tech help and got a woman who said "look at the online answers or call a pool repair shop". I asked for more detailed help and she said a technician would call me. No one called but I got an e-mail saying "call a pool repair shop... I've called in previous years and a knowledgeable tech always helped me to fix my pool. Either they don't have people like that anymore, or they just aren't interested Doin helping a consumer anymore. User's recommendation: Hayward is not going to help you.
