In January I terminated my service with Amerigas due to all their extra charges and unfriendly service. I gave them a 30 day written notice and drained my tank as low as I could for easy pick up I have called numerous times and it is a 90min wait each call. I emailed numerous times, even the sales person who initiated my account in hopes he might help me get the tank removed. I said I smell gas coming from it and NO response The tank is sitting there. I expect them to pick it up and no charge and not rental fee for this year. I did everything right, and no response from them User's recommendation: Avoid THEM.
