No masks by staff and TABC education
1
We shopped Kroger Little Elm on 423 FM this morning. Some of the associates stocking weren't wearing masks at all, others didn't have noses covered, or were wearing it around their chins. Customers were in the store. Then we went to check out about 6:40AM we had a full cart and the only lanes open were self checkout. Those lanes are intended for a few items but not a full cart attendant said the regular registers won't open until 7am, Tom Thumb has at least one register open when they open. Also we purchased non-alcoholic beer I know the TABC laws because I managed a restaurant in Texas a few years ago, if it's less than 0.5 % alcohol by volume it's legal to buy it before noon on Sunday, the nonalcoholic beer we were purchasing was 0.4% and 0.01%. The attendant pulled the non-alcoholic beer from our cart after we had it was rung up and told us no beer can't be sold on Sunday, maybe it's a store policy and if so fine but you should have signs saying as much on the beer isle. We will not be giving business to Kroger for a while possibly ever. I hope in the future you mandate masks for your employees, we are in a pandemic and I don't want to bring Covid home to my family from your store with my groceries, that's why I shop early. I also hope your staff is better educated on the TABC laws here.
