No ID on earned Tim Horton’s cards

I had a card that had more than the points that are on the card now. I couldn't believe the no points when I registered online ? I believe Tim Horton's cards should have some ID that the card holder has more control. Are these not "Earned" points for the card holder? What's the whole point of a Tim Hortons earned points card, if there's no customer id? User's recommendation: I drop roungly $2 or 2.5 grand yearly. I would like to have more control over the customer card in earning my purchases.
