Like many, I forgot the deadline for the membership to start charging. The service seems sketchy at best - not networking, just a poor database. I received the notification that the $83 charge had gone through. I wrote immediately to the company, explaining that I did not want the paid membership. They responded by saying that I should have canceled before so tough. Not the way to build a community, so my impression that this is a rip off has been confirmed. The means by which you downgrade your membership to free is buried in the options section and I am still not convinced that they won’t charge me next year. There doesn’t seem to be any purpose or benefit to this site so I recommend you avoid.
