I purchased my dobe in Sept 2016 from Laura Bristle for $1200. My dobe was one of the smaller 3 dobes, she sold the 3 larger dobes for $1500. There were 6 male dobes in the litter which were born July 23, 2016. To this day, I have not received my papers. She has stopped answering my phone calls and text messages. The last response from her was that AKC wanted a DNA on the site as it was his 5th litter on the grounds. She then stated she sent it to them and they lost the sample so she had to do it again. That was back in January 2017. From then on she will not answer my phone calls nor text messages. I was going to stud my dobe out but cannot now with no papers. I guess my next option is to take her to court. She is a fraud, I wish I had done my research prior to buying a dobe from her. There are a lot of complaints about her not giving the AKC papers to the buyers. Do not purchase a dobe from her. Her house is on Monroe Street in Tecumseh, Michigan.
