Nelnet Is A Stink Bomb

My daughter's payments for her undergrad years were to be deferred because she was in a postgrad program. She contacted Nelnet to let them know this. They told her they'd take care of it and sent her the paperwork. As it turned out, the paperwork they sent her was not for someone who was enrolled in grad school -- it was for people who couldn't afford their payments -- it deferred the payments but also instituted a much higher interest rate. Fortunately, I saw the paperwork before she signed and submitted it. It is clear to me that Nelnet was trying to take advantage of a financially illiterate person. That is, as they say, pretty friggin uncool.
