My wife purchased an order of 8 Paradise Solar Pathway lamps, model # M55970, about 1 year ago and they worked fine all summer. This year I checked all of the original rechargeable batteries and some were bad so I ordered 4 each brand new rechargeable batteries and charged them up. I then installed the brand new batteries in the units that would not work and all but one of them would not work. My question is since I am a US Navy Electronic Technician, can I disassemble the unit and repair it without damage to the plastic part of the Solar Lamp? Or, can I purchase 1 ea new Paradise Solar Pathway Lamp, Model # M55970, to replace the apparent defective unit? We would be happy to purchase one new Paradise Solar Pathway Lamp, Model # M55970 if they are still available. Regards, Robert E.
