My item was definitely damaged by the postal service, I filled out the necessary forms and returned them `promptly' ! Only to have my claim denied after patiently waiting to hear back from them. They were unbelievably late sending me the forms that I needed to process my claim! Just to finally have USPS tell me that I was the one who slowed down the response or process, which was most definitely Not the case!! User's recommendation: Be Cautious when dealing with USPS, they are out to find a way to NOT pay you when they are obligated to do so!
