My first and last experience with Casablanca Express.

I was to recieve airfare for two to Las Vegas, Hotel accomodations, 2 tickets to Cirque de Soliel for Free and several other promos. I ended up paying for almost everything myself. Total expense to myself was well over $550. 9/10/18 This was the most expensive free trip ever!! Not only do they make it very difficult to claim with deadlines and refundable and non refundable depoosits for "incidentals", airport fees, taxes, etc.. all done by mail. When I finally spoke to someone confirming details, I was offered to upgrade to a better hotel (located on the strip) Am earlier departure on a direct flight/ later return flight, shuttle to and from the airport, all for $145. That's it. After I paid for the upgrade due to the "travel agent sales associate" made it sound like I would have the bottom of the barrel accommodations and flight if I didn't upgrade. So like an idiot, I paid for the upgrade to a better Hotel and flight. When I was viewing my itinerary and confirmation email I noticed that the $150 refundable deposit and the $100 non refundable deposit were both applied to this upgrade . So I paid over $450 for the "upgrade" and it was not even metioned that my deposit(s) would be absorbed because $145 was all I needed to pay to take advantage of the exclusive upgrade that would only be available as long as seats were available. So I needed to give my answer right away. I had to pay $40 per checked bag, and same for carry on. Then was promised a shuttle to and from the airport in Vegas. There was a shuttle, but $11 per person. Couldnt rent a car as I never recieved the package of discounts and vouchers also promised. When checking into the hotel I had to pay $79 for "resort fee" which I was never told would be required upon check in. Was promised several things if I attended a time share saies meeting thing. Including $200 Dinner gift card, $25 visa gift card which was supposed to pay for transportation to and from but becuse we arrived a little late, they decided they couldnt fit us in now. If it was a scheduled sales meeting how was the sales person suddenly unavailable? Regardless I recieved no reimbursement for travel costs or gift cards as promised. This entire experience was the worst travel experience I have ever had and would warn anybody that is appointed this scandalous agency. Beware they will tell you what you want to hear, make hollow promises and milk you for every last dime without an ounce of remorse or accountability. They will always have a preselected answer for any concern or dispute...since it's probably all scripted. I am disgusted with every aspect of this so called free trip I won through a drawing I entered at a festival in October 2 years ago.
