My credit card account was closed without notification and I would like to know why. I have had the card for numerous years and have always paid on time and paid the balances in full. I used and paid the balance on the card in March 2021. On April 1, 2021, after having a problem purchasing gas with the card, I contacted Synchrony Customer Service to learn that the account was closed on March 31, 2021. The customer service representative indicated that many people were calling and a letter would be mailed. User's recommendation: Contact the Synchrony Bank and contact a television news station that investigates consumer's concerns.
