Munder NetNet Fund and Paul Cook ruined my family’s finances

The Munder NetNet Fund failed awhile ago, due to the management of Paul Cook, but I hear that Paul Cook is getting involved in finance again and so I wanted to talk about what happened. Don't trust this man! The Munder NetNet fund was an internet fund, investing mostly in internet stocks. And we all know what happened to internet stocks in the early aughts. It's no ones fault that the bubble burst and people lost money. Unless they saw it coming. The Munder NetNet fund had been widely successful. Paul Cook, as the founder, became a media sensation. He was on everything, the television, the finance papers, the internet. He seemed to have a raging success on his hands. But then the fund announced that it was closing its doors to new investors. Not a couple days in advance, like most funds, but a full freaking month. This made a ton of people like my da invest as much money as possible in to the fund before it was too late. That closing was timed almost exactly to match the peak of the internet stock market. The fund announced its closing in March and, by the end of the year, the Munder NetNet Fund lost something like 50% of its value, and then practically another 50% the next year. My da lost everything. But Paul Cook walked away from the Munder NetNet Fund with millions. And he walked away from the fund into another company, InfoSpace. The shady thing about this company is that it was one of the largest holdings of the Munder NetNet Fund. It also had looked like a sure thing but, as soon as the IPO went live investors started seeing suspicious things happening under the surface. All the revenue that the company seemed to have was actually because of shady investment deals and fake lazy susan schemes. (read the SeattleTimes Dot.com job for more info) Sounds familiar? Paul Cook likes the company enough to follow it to its new shady companies, groups like Intelius(which is under FTC investigation), or Inome and TalentWise. In fact, Paul Cook is their CFO. So one of the biggest holdings is a company with a shady investment history, and then when the Munder NetNet Fund fails Paul Cook goes on to work for that company with tons of money. Meanwhile people like my da lost everything. Don't trust your money with Paul Cook! The Munder NetNet Fund failed before, his funds will do it again.
