Don't Buy A Vehicle from Thorton Road Dodge!!!!! I purchased a 2009 Dodge Charger SE new at the end of 2009. my Motor started knocking November 2014 just in 5 years with 67000 miles on it, Mind you I purchased this car with a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. Now that the motor is knocking Thorton road Dodge in Douglasville Georgia the dealer where this vehicle was purchased will not honor the warranty because they say now that you have to bring your car in every 5 years to be evaluated to see if they will continue the warranty. when I purchased this car I was told by the salesman as long as I own this vehicle it is a lifetime warranty when I sell this vehicle the warranty is gone. So now Chrysler Warranty company say's if I have the motor fixed for a sum of anywhere from $3000.00 to $8000.00 dollars they will reinstate the warranty. how is this a lifetime warranty? This is also a car that is garage kept with oil changes every 3000 miles. Obviously dodge is selling LEMONS screwing the American people. I was trying to contact the CEO of Chrysler and Dennis from customer care told me that will never happen, What kind of company are they running? Especially when we the Taxpayers had to bail them out if anyone remembers that.
