Update by user Jan 11, 2019 the pictures that I sent you was from my most recent visit to nofrills in Port Alberni taken on Jan.10 2019 , as you may notice the apples have rot on them as do the oranges and onions cauliflower has mold and I must add that all of them had mold and rot not just a few the celery is dried and old as was the cabbage. I do not want my money back for things I had to throw out, all I would like is the consumers to know what they are buying from this store ,it looks like the old food they use to slop the hogs. Original review posted by user Dec 31, 2018 I have been shopping at NoFrills Port Alberni since it opened and I have noticed the last year or so the quality of the products are far from number one grade. the thing that brought me to the point of writing this review is this Christmas I bought oranges they were rotten in two days and I had to throw them out, I also bought two packets of dinner buns for Christmas dinner they were moldy (these were bought 24 th Dec.) when I was going to put them on the table I noticed the mold on them. I also bought berries of all kinds that were moldy blue berries, strawberries, and raspberries I had to throw them out . when I was last in the store I noticed a strong smell around the onions that were on sale I looked at them and half of the bag was rotten.I also have bought cauliflower that when I got home had black mold spots on it,my list of complaints could go on and on but the bottom line is what are you going to do about the food quality here in Port Alberni ? if you do not reply I will assume that you will do nothing.
