Mistreatment of disability customer

1

I went into the Market Basket in Claremont New Hampshire to do my shopping like I normally do and I had my service dog with me and I put his blanket in the carriage and I set them in the shopping cart like I normally do and I had no problem everything was fine I got up to the register to check out with all my groceries and the front end manager came over and very rudely asked me to take my dog out of the carriage that it was meant for food and people sitting other people had to use a carriage too and I tried to say explained to him that I had his blanket in there and he was my service dog and he told me he didn't really care and the woman that was there at the register she was all apologetic and told me how sorry she was at the manager was so rude to me and the other custom is there were basically the same way they were appalled by the way he treated me I have bad anxiety when I go to public places and the dog is to help me deal with it and if it was not for my husband being with me I would have left my grocery there and walk out I was shaking and all most in tears over this I have been a faithful market basket shop. And I would like to see something done so this doesn't happen to anyone else with a disability. Thank you Darlene constant PS just to be clear it was the front end manager that was work in on 8/14/21 at 15:32:00
