Misselling of product and refund
2
London School of Business and Finance is clearly mis-selling it's CIMA Last Minute Tuition online course. It clearly states on their website that it "Recaps and summarises the entire course syllabus to confidently pass your exams" However after I had purchased the lectures and contacted LSBF to confirm when the courses would be available in my online account they advised me that the lectures are exactly the same as the lecture for the CIMA Tuition course and not a revision course as stated on their website. It's sold at a cheaper price and called Last Minute as you only have 1 month before the exam to study. On applying for a refund as I had already purchased the CIMA Tuition course in July I got the following automated message "Your refund application will be processed by our refunds supervisors, but please be advised that an initial decision may take up to 45 working days. The above time frame is applicable once we have received all the relevant documentation in support of your refund application." This is absolutely ridiculous as why should a refund as simple and straight forward as me not receiving the lectures I purchased as I'd already purchased them in July and was a clear case of mis-selling on LSBF's side take 45 days to resolve. In the meantime I'm out of pocket by £450 and being charged interest.
