Milgard screens

1

I purchased a new home 18 months ago and since it was winter here in Colorado, I did not realize the screens did not fit the window. I called their customer service this year to have the screens replaced, since I had to use small dowel rods to hold the screens tight. I got a real surprise, the screens have a 1 year warranty. They asked me to send in all kinds of pictures and a video. After that, they said the warranty was for only 1 year. Too bad. User's recommendation: Read the fine print on warranties and don't expect any real help. They originally told me they jobbed out the screens. Then they said later that they made them. In either case, they are cheap, poorly made, non fitting junk.
