I bought a max 9 ruger sub compact on june 30th 2021 broke it down cleaned it then went to the range the next day shot two mags threw it no problems then on the next couple of mags the slide would lock back 2 to 3 time during a 12 round mag come to find out that the take down lock slid for the pin was lose well BROKE its a shame that you buy a new gun and it cant even make it threw a box of 50 with out tearing up so I took it back to my local gun store where I bought it and they reimburse my money then I bought a real gun a glock 19 User's recommendation: Dont buy a ruger.
