Material misrepresentation in sale promotion

1

Today, according to a Sperry email blast and their website, is sneaker day. $29.99 sneakers. No astrerisks. No footnote. No fine print. At checkout, I learn that both pair of a popular style of sneaker are "exempt" from the sale. No list of what is included or what is exempt. Proof positive of a lying-oriented marketing operation, which representing the entire company. Smells like *** Switching over to Sebago, an ethical company, for all future deck shoe purchases!
