I bought a home built in 1991. Marvin windows. The wooden sills on most of the dozen operating casement windows has rotted. I emailed Marvin for some suggestions about replacing the sills. Their response was, sorry mister, but you are out of luck. Your problem, not Marvin. I found where there had been a class action lawsuit long time ago, that Marvin settled. There needs to be another. User's recommendation: Avoid anything that has a Marvin Window, new or old. Product is crap and they don't care.
