I was told that federal correctional officers which are all first responders are not eligible for first responders benefits at Micro Center located in on Powers ferry Road in Georgia. The cashier was somewhat in a rush and made me to feel that I was just a correction officer & my career wasnt important enough as a first responders. Stated your just a correction officer. That doesnt make you a first responder or a law enforcement. The manager which granted my purchase stated Im going to do you a favor this time but next time I will not. User's recommendation: Know the law or what jobs are considered first responder nders. Especially as a law enforcement officer for the department of Justice federal bureau of Prisons who’s jobs a very important & are considered law enforcement and have peace officer status in all 52 states.
