When I initially signed up for the magazine program oct. 19/16 (paying for a 4 year subscription service in 1 year) I was not told there would be a $20 ($27 us funds) charge for checking to see if my account was legitimate. This amount came out of my account oct. 27/16 but then put back in on nov, 4/16. I've called their customer service and explained this to no avail. All they do is say it's company policy and don't even apologize for this error in communication. On oct. 19 a first payment of $87.52 ($64.8 us) was taken, then reversed on oct 26/16 and $82.93 ($60.38 us) was debited from my account on the same day. When I called and emailed to find out why all of these bank transactions were occurring, they said they only had a record of taking the $60.38 us ($82.93 cdn) out and as far as the $20 us ($27.44 cdn), that was just on hold to which I replied it wasn't but taken out of and then put back into my account. Today (nov. 18/16) I received a call from their customer service dept.in response to my email. A fellow named jordan did not satisfy the explanation and repeated himself over and over again. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said supervisors/managers cannot help me because all they do is supervise employees not issues such as mine. What a crock! I called back and spoke to another c.S. Person named megan, she could not help either. I called back and finally got a supervisor on the phone. Tyrell is his name and he too only confirmed what the company policy was pertaining to the $20 us charge for checking accounts and offered no apologies for the erroneous communication and bad service I just received from his c.S. Employees. I am very irritated with this kind of service and need to complain about it directly to their company as well but wasn't given any upper management contact information in order to do this.
