Lost Money for Food and medicine during blackout in August

I had just purchased a lot of food at the beginning of August, and I lost almost all of it during the power outage. I called up and told them that I wanted reimbursement for my loss of food and the medicine was also unsafe. I was told last time that the grid would supply power much faster than all of the days it was out. The woman on the phone was disinterested in my family problems telling me to make a claim from my insurance company, and I refused. I told her that I was very angry, and I would continue to pursue getting my food money back for August. I make approximately 200 dollars a week, and I will get it one way or another. I am extremely angry at this company, and desperately don't want to support them EVER AGAIN. I want another company as soon as possible. I don't ever complain about the price, so when I need help, they did not deliver to our satisfaction. I am tired of losing money for food. I can't stand them now. I Hope they see this letter. Thank you so much for this forum. I am a cashier, so I see and hear just how frustrated people are all day long with Eversource. People buy much more than I do, didn't buy like me which was around 600, User's recommendation: There is no other choice, and I would leave them immediately if I could.
