I recently purchased the Lorex 2 camera DVR Wire Free security system. First problem was the Quick Connection Guide said to download the app Lorex Secure. It is out of date. (2019) I called the Lorex help line and they said download Lorex Cirrus. I installed it on my I phone. Live camera works good. Motion detection is what I want. The app does not work. Push notifications does not load. Push settings does not turn on. Settings request comes back failed. I called tech again. They said I need a monitor and mouse to get motion detection. Don't have one. You need to update the Lorex Cirrus app software so that it actually works on an I phone for motion detection. Tech guy did not know what he was doing on my second call. Listen to the recording. I have another Lorex security camera on the front door. l It is hard wired for power and works great with motion detection. User's recommendation: Do not believe the claim that this is brand new. It is at least 2 years old. It is made in China.
