They charge you more in the winter and claim it's because of your furnace running. I don't have a heat pump/furnace or baseboard heat, I only have a wood stove in my house for heat but my electric still goes up almost double! And then we have the daily loss of power at 9am, it goes out long enough that you have to reset clocks etc... They have no idea why it happens and blame us homeowners for it, I think they do it to put a surge through our meters. We here in West Virginia have no other choice for electric because First Energy is the only one in the entire state.
