We had a home equity line through State Farm. They sold loans to Specialized Loan Servicing. I paid off the home equity within a few months. I paid what was stated for final payment, but somewhere along they added an extra $.03. I kept getting letters about account being delinquent. I called customer service to see how to just close it. I got an amount due $25.00 late fee, 3 cents due and $30.00 recording fee $30.00 recording fee User's recommendation: Stay away from Specialized Loan Servicing.
